This Week’s Billboard Top Gospel CDs: Gospel Rap Artist Derek Minor Takes #1

Billboard LogoThere are several changes and new entrants into the top 10 this week. Gospel rap artist Derek Minor takes over the #1 spot after first week sales of his new album ‘Minorville.’ The Christian Hip Hop artist sold a respectable 8,234 units.

Coming in at #2 is Tye Tribbett, who continues to sell well after one month on the charts.

Tamela Mann is #3, and last weeks #1 Deitrick Haddon falls to #4 this week. Also congrats to Gospel newcomer Keith Williams who makes his first-ever debut into the Top 10.
