This Week’s Billboard Top 10 Gospel CDs: Shirley Caesar Shoots Up to #1After a full week of sales Shirley Caesar has shot up to #1 on the Billboard Gospel Chart. This after second week sales of her new album “Fill this House” were tabulated. Rising artist Charles Butler and Trinity debuted first week sales of his new album “Make It” at #2, and Kirk Franklin continues to sell well coming in at #3 after 31 straight weeks on the charts.

In the world of Gospel radio, getting the most plays is Hezekiah Walker’s song “Better.”

On the Christian Contemporary Music (CCM) side of things the top album belongs to Lindy Conant & The Circuit Riders with “Every Nation.” They bump Joey & Rory down to #2 with their album “Hymns.”

The #1 CCM song at radio remains “God is on the Move” by 7eventh Time Down.
