He was honored several times during the Gospel Music Workshop of America held at the Hilton Riverside Hotel & Resort in his hometown, New Orleans for his 25 years as a Gospel Radio Broadcaster.
Lyle Henderson continues to celebrate his silver broadcast year in music with the release of his debut CD single, “Expectations” to the National Gospel Announcers Guild and is gaining airplay at radio stations across the country. His full CD, also entitled, “Expectations,” is scheduled for release in early 2016.
“Prince Lyle” as he is known to listeners, can now be heard twice weekly on two different stations, as he continues to host his 2010 Stellar Gospel Music Awards nominated show, “The World of Gospel” he can be heard on Wednesdays at 12 noon CST on www.CrescentCityRadio.com.
Henderson has recently joined the staff of WBOK 1230 AM in New Orleans as the new host of the Sunday Gospel Morning Show, heard from 5:00 am -12 noon CST every Sunday.
