Tyler Perry gave a heart-felt gift to the ministry of Bishop TD Jakes this Sunday.
Jakes is raising funds for a new youth center, and Perry said he felt led to give a monetary gift of 1 million dollars after he attended the Man Power event at MegaFest just days ago.
If that wasn’t surprising enough, Perry shocked The Potter’s House congregation by laying hands on Jakes, preaching briefly, and speaking in tongues.
Perry and Jakes are a wonderful example of Christians working together for the good of the body of Christ. With both moguls succeeding in film-production, they could be hating on one another. Instead they have combined their resources in more ways then one in recent years.
