UNTRUE? Tyler Perry Has Hired Orlando Jones to Play Madea in Next Movie [UPDATE]
UPDATE: A publicist for Tyler Perry has called PATH’s office stating the viral news of Tyler Perry not playing Madea in his next film is not true. This publicist did not want me to quote him, or release his name. The report reportedly flooded news outlets around April fools day, and PATH cannot verify whether or not this publicist is permitted to speak on Tyler’s behalf. So I believe we will see Tyler as Madea in his next role. PATH will keep you updated as we anticipate an official statement to post on Tyler’s website.

Newly signed Fair Trade band The Digital Age is set to embark on a new musical venture with the release of their debut album Evening:Morning on August 13. Finishing off a wildly successful decade-long career with the David Crowder*Band, including a capstone sold-out tour, a No. 2 release on the Billboard 200, and a final performance before over 42,000 college students at Passion 2012, the four band members, Mike Dodson (Mike D), Mark Waldrop, Jack Parker and Jeremy Bush (Bwack), formed The Digital Age as an extension of the ministry that started over a decade ago.
