The Grammy Awards Announce 2013 Nominees in the Gospel & Christian Music Categories (COMPLETE LIST)


There’s arguably only one awards show that can instantly change an artists’ career.  And that’s the Grammy Awards.

The 55th Annual Grammy Awards

recently announced the nominees for 2013.  It was hosted in Los Angeles tonight during a live special that aired on CBS.  LL Cool J and Taylor Swift hosted the show featuring performances from the likes of fun., Maroon 5, Ne-Yo and more. The 2013 Grammys will be broadcast on CBS February 10th at 8/7c.

Integrity Music announces the Jan. 15, 2013 release of Limitless, a new 13-track CD and bonus DVD from Melbourne, Australia’s Planetshakers, the country’s largest youth and young adult movement.

Brazil’s Pop-Star Priest Marcelo Rossi Builds Massive Church Attracting 50,000 Opening Day


One of Brazil’s most popular pop singers, Father Marcelo Rossi of Mother of God church, has opened a massive new Roman Catholic sanctuary that can hold up to 80,000 people for Mass, hoping that he will continue the growth of the religion in the Latin America country.

“They couldn’t all fit in. There was a crowd that had to stand outside! That’s a sign we’re on the right path, and it’s this sanctuary,” 45-year old Rossi said at the event in Sao Paulo, one of Brazil’s biggest cities. Continue reading

Sandi Patty Joins Forces with the Potter’s House T.D. Jakes


 After announcing a Christmas tour with Jason Crabb, an upcoming album in 2013, and a cruise in 2014, Gospel-musician Sandi Patty isn’t stopping there. Known as “The Voice,” Patty will share her God-given talents for a two-night special engagement with “America’s Best Preacher,” T.D. Jakes. The evening will be full of inspirational songs performed by Patty and powerful messages by Jakes.

This will be the first time that the Grammy-award-winning Patty will team up with Jakes, the Senior Pastor of the 30,000 member The Potter’s House of Dallas. GRAMMY-WINNING THIRD DAY ANNOUNCE THE MIRACLE TOUR, SLATED TO HIT 45 CITIES THIS COMING SPRING


Four-time GRAMMY® Award-winning band Third Day will hit the road again this spring to headline The Miracle Tour, a 45-city trek featuring “American Idol” finalist Colton Dixon and singer-songwriter Josh Wilson as special guests. The Miracle Tour will launch Feb. 21, in Fairfax, Va., and will hit major markets like Memphis, Dallas, Birmingham, Atlanta, Nashville, Indianapolis, Grand Rapids, Chicago and many more before wrapping up in mid-May.

The Miracle Tour takes its name from Third Day’s brand new studio project, Miracle, releasing Nov. 6. With veteran producer Brendan O’Brien (Bruce Springsteen, Pearl Jam, Train, The Killers) at the helm, Miracle is a 12-track simmering brew of potent rock anthems infused with the substantive, life-affirming lyrics that have always been the bedrock of Third Day’s music. At the same time, the band explores new sonic and lyrical territory on Miracle, with layered guitars and harmonies, sing-along gang vocals, and so on – not heard from the band previously.
