Dynamic Group’s Hit Single ‘Up Up Up’ Climbs the Charts
Things are going up, up, up for the 3x GRAMMY® Award nominated, gospel supergroup, Anthony Brown & group therAPy. The Washington, D.C. based troupe’s anthemic 2012 gospel classic, “Worth,” was recently certified platinum for a million sales by the Recording Industry Association of America® (RIAA). The track spent 24 weeks atop Billboard’s Gospel Airplay chart a decade ago and was initially certified gold in the fall of 2019. That’s not all the good news though. The dynamic group is co-headlining a 30+ city gospel concert tour with showman, Pastor Mike Jr., Bri Babineaux, and Deitrick Haddon.

Sherwin Gardner, a Trinidadian singer based in the Bahamas, has been singing professionally for four decades. But, his current release, “Find Me Here (Blessings Find Me),” is the biggest of his career. It has surpassed a billion views on TikTok and earned him a seat in a tight circle of TikTok influencers such as illusionist, Zach King, and actor, The Rock. It’s the first gospel song to reach this milestone. Since the Afrobeat track dropped in January, it has scored 1.1 billion TikTok views, 9.2 million digital streams, and 2.2 million user-generated creations. He recently stopped into the Manhattan offices of his distributor ADA to meet the staff and celebrate the song’s success.
RCA Inspiration, one of the premiere labels in Gospel and inspirational music, and Provident Entertainment, announce the signing of GRAMMY Award winning singer and songwriter, Joe L. Barnes. Barnes’ first single effort as a solo act, “Altar,” is available now at all major retailers. “Altar” is lifted from Barnes’ forthcoming album, The Good Shepherd.

The Hymns Professor, Bishop Leonard Scott, teams up with GRAMMY® Award nominated worship crooner, VaShawn Mitchell (best-known for his 2010 RIAA gold-certified No. 1 hit, “Nobody Greater”) on an original new song, “Jesus Saves” (Tyscot ). The track is the third release from Bishop Scott’s forthcoming album, “Keep Hymns Alive: Cross Songs” (Tyscot) digital EP.

Sandra Crouch, Grammy® Award winning twin sister of gospel legend Andraé Crouch, and an artist in her own right, passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2024 @ 12 PM PST at Northridge Hospital in Northridge, CA. She was 81. She died of complications from radiation for a non-cancerous brain lesion.
