GRAMMY Nomination For New Artist ANITA WILSON Leaves Her “Speechless”


Anita Wilson is counting her blessings.  The success of her debut release, Worship Soul, is more than any new artist could hope for.  The Donald Lawrence & Co. singer launched out on her own with the EMI Gospel release of Worship Soul last April.  The soulful psalmist has now been recognized with music’s highest honor, a GRAMMY Award Nomination.  Wilson received a nomination for Worship Soul for Best Gospel Album of the Year.  To be televised on CBS, the 55th Annual GRAMMY Awards will be presented live from the Staples Center on Sunday, February 10, 2013. Tyler Perry Sued Over Movie “Good Deeds”


Hollywood mogul Tyler Perry is being sued over his 2012 movie, “Good Deeds,” says entertainment reporter Jawn Murray.

A U.S. author filed suit against the filmmaker in a Philadelphia Federal Court on Tuesday accusing him of taking the plot of his movie from her 2007 book, “Bad Apples Can Be Good Fruit.” Continue reading



Bishop TD Jakes speaks About Wife’s surgery


Bishop T.D. Jakes and the Potter’s House family had something to celebrate Sunday Dec. 2. First Lady Serita Jakes finally made a triumphant return to the Dallas, TX church after recovering from a successful surgery to repair a herniated disc in two locations.

“She’s one tough girl,” said her beaming husband of 30 years, Bishop T.D. Jakes during Sunday Morning service, clearly excited over her recovery.

Before surgery, Mrs. Jakes’ left arm and hand were not functioning properly, and she had lost “all feeling and sensation in her extremities” said Bishop Jakes. Continue reading
