Tyler Perry Sued Over Movie “Good Deeds”

Hollywood mogul Tyler Perry is being sued over his 2012 movie, “Good Deeds,” says entertainment reporter Jawn Murray.

A U.S. author filed suit against the filmmaker in a Philadelphia Federal Court on Tuesday accusing him of taking the plot of his movie from her 2007 book, “Bad Apples Can Be Good Fruit.” Continue reading →



Bishop TD Jakes speaks About Wife’s surgery

Bishop T.D. Jakes and the Potter’s House family had something to celebrate Sunday Dec. 2. First Lady Serita Jakes finally made a triumphant return to the Dallas, TX church after recovering from a successful surgery to repair a herniated disc in two locations.

“She’s one tough girl,” said her beaming husband of 30 years, Bishop T.D. Jakes during Sunday Morning service, clearly excited over her recovery.

Before surgery, Mrs. Jakes’ left arm and hand were not functioning properly, and she had lost “all feeling and sensation in her extremities” said Bishop Jakes. Continue reading →

Big news coming out of the Gospel industry.  Jazzy Jordan, head of Gospel’s most successful record label has announced his retirement.

Industry insiders Hasan James and Sheilah Belle tell PATH that it’s OFFICIAL… There has been an industry shuffle over at Verity Records, as Stanley Brown (pictured below) replaces James “Jazzy” Jordan (pictured at top) as Executive Vice-President of Verity Records Music Group and Geo Bivins will be General Manager and Head of Promotions.

There’s arguably only one awards show that can instantly change an artists’ career.  And that’s the Grammy Awards.

The 55th Annual Grammy Awards

recently announced the nominees for 2013.  It was hosted in Los Angeles tonight during a live special that aired on CBS.  LL Cool J and Taylor Swift hosted the show featuring performances from the likes of fun., Maroon 5, Ne-Yo and more. The 2013 Grammys will be broadcast on CBS February 10th at 8/7c.

Iranian Christian Fears Death if Deported from Sweden

An Iranian Christian seeking asylum in Sweden faces deportation after officials rejected his request.

Swedish officials could decide to send Reza Jebbari back to Iran as soon as this week.

Jebbari converted to Christianity while visiting Azerbaijan in 2010 and later moved to Sweden where he applied for asylum on grounds that he would face persecution if he returned to Iran. Continue reading →
