BEC Recordings’ male vocalist Adam Cappa has recently released his newest single to radio, “Washed Over Me.” This week, Cappa is debuting his music video for the worshipful song at GodTube. The music video received more than 12k views after it premiered yesterday. Click here or above to watch the music video. The music video was directed and produced by Leif Skartland.
Based on Ephesians 2, “Washed Over Me,” provides a worshipful expression of reconciliation. The music video follows the day-to-day life of a Dad, portrayed by Adam, who’s life has acquired the filth of sin, causing struggles at work and at home with his wife. The video bounces between adulthood and childhood, and it shows how the sin and filth in our lives not only separates us from God as well as can cause barriers in relationships. It’s through a personal relationship with God that we are washed and made new.
“This song is about the love of Jesus Christ and the victory that is found only through Him,” shares Cappa. “It’s inspired by the sacrifice that Christ made for us on the cross, and the power of His blood that sets us free and gives us life. It’s because of His great love for us, that we have been made alive, even when we were dead in our sins. Romans 5:8 says, ‘God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.’ It’s because of this love that my life has been changed. ‘I’ve been washed, I’ve been cleansed, and I have been made free. I’ve been bought by the blood that my King has bled for me. The sweetest victory, won at Calvary where His love, all His love washed over me.'”

Last year, Cappa released his full-length label debut, The Rescue. Cappa enlisted producer Andy Dodd as well as his labelmate Jeremy Camp, who has been involved in Cappa’s career from the beginning. The media praised his album saying “his sincere and authentic voice makes it easy to get behind the message of (his) songs,” as well as his voice has “tenderness and authenticity.”
A vocalist, guitarist, performer, young songwriter and communicator through and through, Cappa is ready to share his heart. It all started when he got involved with Young Life after accepting Christ as a sophomore in high school. Fast-forward a few years and two independent records later, Cappa is focused on his passion for ministry.
