Dreamin’ Out Loud Entertainment readies to release award-winning Christian pop singer/songwriter Katelyn McCarter’s “Rough Day” Tuesday, June 3, 2014, the lead single from the upcoming studio effort Beyond Skin Deep.
Rough Day is a lyrically relatable upbeat song where McCarter explains, “as we go through rough days in life we must seek God and come to him for support and guidance,” and with simple everyday life issues the lyrics simply say: “My Clock Is Running Slow/ The Coffee Pot Is Broke/Can’t Find My Keys, And Now My Head Is Achin’/My Rent Is Overdue/ My Boyfriend Said We’re Through…Rough Day.”
McCarter, hailing from Petersburg, Virginia, is a prolific writer who uses life experiences to disseminate messages of hope and encouragement and is compelled to create music by the invigorating strength and inspiration she receives from God.
