In August, 19 Recordings’ Dove Award-winning artist and Season 11 American Idol finalist Colton Dixon released Anchor, his highly anticipated sophomore album. Making a splash in its first week, Anchor debuted at No. 1 on four charts! This is Dixon’s second No. 1 album debut, following in the footsteps of his successful debut LP, A Messenger.
Even prior to Anchor’s release date, its first single “More Of You” was being heard on radio stations across the U.S. The single continues to be heard all over and even has kept the No. 1 spot at radio for its third week on the Hot AC/CHR charts. This is Dixon’s third chart-topping song in a row at Hot AC and his highest charting song to date for both AC charts.
At press time, “More Of You” continues to climb other charts as well. The single is currently at No. 8 on AC Indicator as well as National Audience charts, and No. 9 at AC Monitored.
