Columbia Records boasts an impressive artist roster that includes Beyonce, Adele, John Legend, and many others.
Monetary details of the deal have not been released, but the agreement should get Lecrae in areas of the business that’s hard for Christian artists to reach. With that said, fans are hoping that the artist’s’ positive message won’t be watered down by signing with the media giant.
In lieu of the signing, fans have took to websites and social media to express congrats and concerns of signing with the label best known for its secular roster. Details of what the signing means for the rest of Lecrae’s Reach Records roster is unknown.

The Atlanta based artist, community leader, activist and entrepreneur has helped to revive the genre’s conscious sensibility with his message of inspiration.

His hit single “All I Need Is You,” garnered across-the-board acclaim, earning a 2015 Grammy nomination for Best Rap Performance.
