Stellar and Dove Award nominated singer/songwriter Desmond Pringle exemplifies God’s love in action as he impacts lives through his passionate work with the Cancer Treatment Center of America (CTCA). Pringle shares messages of hope and inspiration with cancer survivors and their families at events across the country.
Desmond shared his musical gifts as the special guest artist for CTCA’s “Celebrate Life” event in the Chicago suburb of Zion, IL, “Celebrate Life” salutes CTCA patients who have reached the five year cancer survivor mark with a tree-planting ceremony and awards dinner. Desmond was elated to be a part. He remarked, “it is a phenomenal two day event and a great blessing to meet so many survivors. Their optimism and determination to overcome health challenges and to live a quality life is inspiring.” Rev. Percy McCray, Director of Pastoral Care for CTCA has included Pringle in several of their initiatives and sees his participation as a vital part of the organization’s faith-based initiatives.
While Pringle places high priority on his duties as Pastor of the Inglewood, Ca based Watered Garden Fellowship and his music ministry, the loss of his father to cancer last fall has made his work with CTCA of a greater significance. “If my music and ministry can be a source of inspiration and hope, then I have succeeded with my ministry objectives.”
