Marvin Sapp Consecrated as Bishop

Marvin Sapp Consecrated as BishopOn Friday, July 10 at the Prime Osborn III Convention Center in Jacksonville, Florida, Gospel recording artist Pastor Marvin Sapp was consecrated to Bishop, during the national gathering of The Global United Fellowship.

During the ceremony, which was being witnessed by thousands in attendance, a touching moment occurred when Sapp’s daughters and son came and graciously stood by his side as the wives of the other Bishops were called to stand with their husbands. The rest of his family members who were present included 20 members of Sapp’s family who travelled to Jacksonville for the service, in addition to 40 members from his church, the Lighthouse Full Life Center.

The ceremony started at 11:30am and ended at 2:00p.m.

His elevation will position him as the Bishop over the Central Province of Global United Fellowship, and he will oversee 70 pastors and their churches in Michigan, Illinois, Ohio and Missouri.
