On the heels of his new Motown Gospel release, Love Never Fails, Micah Stampley continues to spread the good news in music wherever he goes. Gospel Music’s biggest night takes place Saturday, January 18, but before that happens, several events will kick off in the Nashville area.
Stampley is on board to join the line-up at TBN Gospel Music Night taping on Thursday, January 16 featuring gospel greats such as: Israel Houghton, Erica Campbell, Marvin Sapp, William McDowell, Tosha Cobbs ,Anita Wilson and others. The annual music special will be hosted by award-winning singer, Donnie McClurkin. On Friday January 17th Stampley will appear as a” Presenter” at the Pre-Stellar Award Reception at TPAC (Tennessee Performing Arts Center) 505 Deaderick Street in downtown Nashville . Following the Stellar Reception he wraps up the night at Motown Gospel event during Yes Lord Radio 2014 Anniversary Showcase at Millennium Maxwell House , 2025 Rosa L Parks Blvd. at 6pm.
In recognition and celebration of the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. holiday on Monday, January 20, Stampley will perform for the Annual Hosea WillIams Feeds the Hungry Benefit held at the Georgia International Convention Center in College Park, GA. The outreach that serves over 40,000 hot meals per dinner, launched in 1971 as a Thanksgiving meal for the homeless hosted by Rev. Hosea L. Williams and his wife Juanita. The late Rev. Williams was a Civil Rights leader and Field General to Dr. King. In addition to feeding the hungry the charity also provides key programs including Homeless Prevention/Financial Assistance, Housing Assistance, & Daily Living programs.
