This week on the Billboard Gospel charts the leaders from last week didn’t have much staying power as last week’s #1 Livre drops to #8. The new fore-runner is once again Wow Gospel 2016, with Kirk Franklin following closely behind at #2. Shirley Caesar made a disappointing first week debut at #23 with ‘Fill This House.’
In the world of Gospel radio, Hezekiah Walker still has the #1 song with ‘Better.’ Moving up the charts like a bullet is Zacardi Cortez with #YDIA.
On the Christian Contemporary Music (CCM) side of things, Joey & Rory continue to dominate the chart coming in at #1 with the album ‘Hymns.’ New in the top 10 is Eshon Burgundy who debuts his album at #8 with ‘The Passover.’
At CCM radio, the #1 song is now ‘God is on the Move’ by 7eventh Time Down. Danny Gokey falls to #2 with ‘Tell Your Heart to Beat Again.’
