This week on the Billboard Gospel charts we have some movement, but Fred Hammond takes the top spot once again with his album “I Will Trust.” The album is a bright start to a new year that saw Hammond overcome double knee replacements in 2014.
Brian Courtney Wilson’s sales numbers are in for his first week on the charts. The smooth sounding tenor debuts his album “Worth Fighting For” at #2 on the charts. This is Brian’s highly acclaimed sophomore release, and first with new label Motown Gospel.
Coming in third this week is another Motown Gospel artist. Tasha Cobbs continues her remarkable run on the charts at 101 weeks in the top 10.
Falling out of the top 10 in sales are The Walls Group, Bryan Popin, and Jimmy Greene,.
In the world of radio spins Ricky Dillard’s “Amazing” continues to lead the field with the most plays at radio. Newcomer Casey J continues to make a name for herself at #3 on the chart with “Fill Me Up.”
