Creflo Dollar took a great deal of national criticism for asking donors to pay for a $65 million dollar private jet so he could fly around the world. He says it was for the purposes of spreading the gospel. After the backlash Dollar took down his online funding campaign and his team released a statement saying that for now the Mega-Church Pastor would fly commercial until a “reasonably priced” jet became available.
As Dollar explains in the video, he feels that it’s ok for him to dream about having a $65 million dollar airplane. After scattered applauses, Dollar encourages his patrons to not let the enemy put limits on your dreams.
The televangelist started the video by addressing a number of inaccurate reports that have flooded the internet since going on his scheduled sabbatical.
Dollar asked his congregation, “I never one time came to you and asked you for a dime for this airplane did I?” Leaning on his international donors for the funding Dollar goes on to say, “We have over 3 million donors around the world who support the ministry so I can get to where they are.”
Dollar testifies that a man in the middle East wrote a letter to him saying that his relative got his head cut off, and they needed him in the middle East. Enclosed was a check to go towards buying the airplane. The congregation then rejoiced at the news.
So the question remains, is it right for a Pastor to ask for extremely large donations to make HIS dreams happen, even if the intentions are noble?

I believe it was a reach to ask for such a lavish donation.
