Over the weekend Gospel artist Kirk Franklin was far away from America, praising the Lord at the annual Adom Praiz event in Ghana, Africa.
Patrons in Ghana flooded the Perez Dome excited to see Gospel’s best-selling artist. The venue was reportedly over-capacity packing in over 14,000 people into Ghana’s largest venue.
An elated Kirk Franklin took the stage and said, “Ghana I don’t want to go home because I am already home with my family… Ghana is the best place in Africa,”
Gospel music is well received in other countries, but they also have their own stars. Many of whom Americans have not heard yet.
Taking the stage before Kirk Franklin was Cwesi Oteng, Ohemaa Mercy, Cecelia Marfo, and the group No Tribe.
In attendance was African natives Bishop Charles Agyinasare, General Overseer of the Perez Chapel International, formerly, World Miracle International Church; Nana Oye Lithur, Minister of Gender, Children and Social Protection; and former Minister of State, Mike Gizo.
