This Week’s Billboard Top 10 Gospel CDs: Two Gospel Rappers Take Top Spots
For the first time in years two Gospel rappers sit on top of the Billboard Gospel charts. Lecrae and Canon hold the coveted spots. For Lecrae this is his 6th straight week on top of the charts. This Week’s Billboard Top 10 Gospel CDs: Michelle Williams Debuts at #2, Lecrae #1
This week rapper Lecrae has shocked the world by not only debuting on top of the Christian/Gospel chart, but also on top of the secular Billboard Top 200. Only a handful of Christian Contemporary artists have ever achieved this, and no Gospel artist has ever outsold the music industry debuting #1 in the top 200 until now. The album sold 88,000 copies in it’s first week, trumping his 2012 ‘Gravity’ release where he debuted first weeks sales of 72,000 copies. Read the full post »

Kierra Sheard Debuts New CD “Graceland” #1 On Billboard Chart
