The Rebirth of Comedy presents The Heavy Hitters Tour kicked off this past Friday in Columbia, SC. at The Medallion Conference and Event Center. The national stand up comedy tour featuring comedians Akintunde, Marcus D. Wiley, Chinitta Morris and Bone Hampton, drew a 90% capacity crowd – less than 100 tickets shy of a total sell out.
The tour will consist of “spot dates” through out 2014 before launching a 25 plus city cross country run in 2015. The Heavy Hitters is an extension of the Rebirth of Comedy brand, which in addition to the tour, features a Television Special and DVD.
The tour will continue on Friday September 5th in Lafayette, LA. – 8 PM at Philadelphia Christian Church.
