Ministry Etiquette 101: “Association Can Evolve to Assimilation”
Psalm 1:1-2 “Blessed (Empowered to prosper) is the man that walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law (Word) of the Lord; and in his law (Word) does he meditate day and night.“
Counsel is advice, direction, and guidance i.e. wisdom, so to receive counsel from the ungodly is to walk (be directed in the path; make progress from one point to another) according to his ways/heart. That’s why counsel is so important, throughout Israel’s history we can read where counsel either delivered them or defeated them. Continue reading
