Lost in all the Stellar Awards activity is a little know fact that creeped up the Billboard Gospel albums chart. Still unconfirmed, we believe Gospel rapper Lecrae is the first artist to offer a free-download of his album and a for-sale version of the same album that charts at #1 in sales. Released at the same time, the only minor difference between the mix-tape free version of the album, and the paid version is that there’s no D.J. talking in the paid version. You would think nobody would go for the paid version? Wrong! To sell this many units after one month goes to show that Lecrae has an amazing fan-base. Not to be lost, is the other anomaly that Lecrae’s 2013 studio album ‘Gravity’ is also in the top 10 in sales. That’s two albums currently in the top 10! Continue reading

When Zacardi Cortez sings, everybody listens.
