[Michael Phelps was given the Christian book Purpose Driven Life by former NFL Star Ray Lewis. Phelps told Lewis after contemplating suicide, “Man this book is crazy!” he exclaimed. “The thing that’s going on…oh my gosh…my brain, I can’t thank you enough man. You saved my life.”]

OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network announced today it has given an eight-episode series order to “The Book of John” (working title) from Leftfield Pictures, a weekly one-hour dramedy docu-series featuring the life of John Gray, associate pastor at Joel Osteen’s world-famous Lakewood Church in Houston, Texas.
