Ebony has tapped Gospel duo Mary Mary as the cover stars for their June 2013 issue which celebrates black music. Inside the June issue, the reality stars get candid about their personal life.
The magazine cover suggests a deeper reason behind the groups decision to pursue solo careers. The words Mary vs. Mary clearly visible on the cover.
Tina Campbell, the more outspoken of the two, reveals that she and husband Teddy Campbell almost divorced because of his past infidelity.
“Once I became aware [of the affair], I initially wanted to kill my husband,” Tina admitted. “I was considering adjusting the will, the living trust and all that kind of stuff. I did physically try to stab him. Several times… I never got to the point of physical harm, not really, but my words… My words hurt.”
PATH was the magazine that first got Erica to elaborate on her solo pursuit. She further explained to the cast of “The View” that her sister Tina is OK with it, and even wrote several songs on her new project.
The issue hits stands May 7.
