The buzz is building around new Gospel artist, Sue Neil and her bold testimony of redemption and obedience. Sue Neil’s career began as a secular artist in London, where she was born and raised, but her plans and faith in God changed, while touring with the dance band, “Faithless”.
Sue was always applauded and recognized for her “big vocals”, even as a child, but this wasn’t enough to sustain her, while touring to South Africa, Australia, Europe and the UK and the United States. It was during this time, Sue’s faith in God was being tested and her music and life was redeemed one night after a show in Portugal, Lisbon.
During a recent interview, Sue shared more details of her test and what the Lord spoke to her: “God said that if I continued to do what I was doing, I would die.” I didn’t know if it was literal or spiritual, and wasn’t prepared to hang around to find out which it was.”
A phenomenal singer and songwriter, Sue Neil stands confident today in who she is and where God is leading her. The passion and power from her testimony is definitely heard in her music and from live performances.
