Hollywood, CA — PATH was there for the 5th Annual Merge Summit in Los Angeles, CA. The annual event blends faith and entertainment, by bringing together top Hollywood actors and executives, and merging them with the faith-based industry.
This year saw a well organized event that taught registrants on variety of topics. Some of the prestigious people in attendance were actors Angela Bassett, Morris Chestnut, Boris Kudjoe, Omari Hardwick, singers Michelle Williams, Deitrick Haddon, Kierra Sheard, Jessica Reedy, Mali Music, Alexis Spight, Lecrae, and tons more.
During the weekend, participants raved about the amount of information they were receiving. As the stars, executives, and artists were eager to share their experiences and insights with the hundreds in attendance.
One of the highlights of the conference was when Merge creators Holly Carter and Robi Reed bought the cast of “The Best Man Holiday” on stage for a panel discussion and exclusive look at the Best Man sequel.
During the action-packed weekend, the Third Annual Awards Luncheon was held honoring three individuals who have been instrumental in bridging the gap between faith and entertainment. The 2013 honorees this year included Steve Pemberton, Divisional Vice President & Chief Diversity Officer of Walgreens and Pastor Toure Roberts of One Church International in Los Angeles.
