This Week’s Billboard Top 10 Gospel CDs: Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir Makes Surprising Leap to #1On the Billboard Gospel charts this week we see a surprising leap into the #1 spot by the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir. The legendary choir’s new album “Pray” moves from the #11 spot last week to rank at #1 in sales this week.

Wow Gospel 2015 continues its hot streak coming in at #2 and Erica Campbell falls from the top spot last week to #3 this week with the re-released album “Help 2.0.”

In the world of radio, Jason Nelson has the #1 Gospel song ‘I Am’ for the second week in a row.

On the Christian Contemporary music side the #1 album belongs to rising star Lauren Daigle with “How Can It Be.” Daigle beats out stiff competition from NEEDTOBREATHE who comes in at #2 with “Live From The Woods At Fontanel.” The #1 CCM song at radio is Third Day with “Soul On Fire.”
