In the world of Gospel radio, Marvin Sapp supplants Tamela Mann with his single “Yes You Can.” Sapp’s rise on the songs chart continues to illustrate how radio airtime helps album sells. Tamela Mann’s song ‘This Place’ falls to #2.
On the Christian Contemporary Music (CCM) side of things the Australian based group Hillsong takes the top spot with their album ‘Empires.’ Last weeks #1 August Burns Red falls to #3. The #1 song at CCM radio continues to be ‘Holy Spirit’ by Francesca Battistelli.
Falling out of the top 10 is Lonnie Hunter, Lee Williams, and Dr. James F. Clark and The Shalom Church Mass Choir.
