The big week has arrived for Rejoice! Musical Soul Food (MSF), the 24-hour gospel music radio network. The Virginia Beach, VA-based company has been rapidly expanding its reach and brand over the last year with an assortment of exciting new syndicated programs by legendary recording artists such as SWV’s Coko, Dorinda Clark Cole, Dottie Peoples and Melvin Williams of The Williams Brothers alongside national broadcasts by veteran on-air radio personalities Liz Black and Tracy Morgan.

This coming week the network will host Musical Soul Food Live, a two-day event featuring live music, comedy, celebrity meet-and-greets, food vendors and appearances by air personalities such as Liz Black and Tracy Morgan. Everything kicks off Friday, November 13th @ 7 PM with a ticketed concert hosted by Grammy Award winner Dorinda Clark Cole. The bill includes Melvin Williams, Dottie Peoples, Earnest Pugh, Brian Courtney Wilson, The Virginia Aires, Casey J, Norman Hutchins, Kevin LeVar, Earl Bynum and the group Half Mile Home. The VIP Experience ticket includes preferred seating, a celebrity meet-and-greet and a gift bag.

On Saturday, November 14th @ 2-8 PM there will be a Pure-N-Heart Teen Music & Ministry Workshop geared towards teens. The event aims to expose youth to authentic musical ministry principles and tap into their musical abilities. Participants will receive free food, T-shirts, Bibles, etc. At 5 PM Musical Soul Food’s Comedy Jam and New Artist Showcase kicks off with appearances by Cletus Kassady and the Laugh Therapist, Vernard Hines; Coko & Cory; #ThoseBaxters; AllSaints Radio Crew, Dottie Peoples and a special appearance by the Stellar Award nominated group Pure-N-Heart. The festivities take place at E. Ray Cox Convocation Center at New Hope Baptist Church, 395 Old Great Neck Road, Virginia Beach, VA 23454. In other news, MSF has added the Nielsen BDS-monitored WGH Star 1310 AM station to its constellation of 39 radio station affiliates. “Rejoice!
