Jazzy Jordan Set to Retire from Verity Records Music Group as Executive Vice President and General Manager


Big news coming out of the Gospel industry.  Jazzy Jordan, head of Gospel’s most successful record label has announced his retirement.

Industry insiders Hasan James and Sheilah Belle tell PATH that it’s OFFICIAL… There has been an industry shuffle over at Verity Records, as Stanley Brown (pictured below) replaces James “Jazzy” Jordan (pictured at top) as Executive Vice-President of Verity Records Music Group and Geo Bivins will be General Manager and Head of Promotions.

The Grammy Awards Announce 2013 Nominees in the Gospel & Christian Music Categories (COMPLETE LIST)


There’s arguably only one awards show that can instantly change an artists’ career.  And that’s the Grammy Awards.

The 55th Annual Grammy Awards

recently announced the nominees for 2013.  It was hosted in Los Angeles tonight during a live special that aired on CBS.  LL Cool J and Taylor Swift hosted the show featuring performances from the likes of fun., Maroon 5, Ne-Yo and more. The 2013 Grammys will be broadcast on CBS February 10th at 8/7c.

Ambassador Talks About New Album in Stores March 26, 2013 [VIDEO]


Xist Records recording artist The Ambassador recently spoke to Sketch ‘The Journalist’ about his new album scheduled for release March 26, 2013.

Ambassodor was asked whether the album would be less preachy or more preachy this time around.  “I’ll turn it up a little bit, and seek to dialog about things I believe in,” says the Christian rapper. Continue reading
