For the third straight week we have a new #1. Who would have thought that Gospel rapper Swoope would debut first week sales at the same time as Smokie Norful and beat him on the charts? That’s how much Gospel hip hop has grown in recent years. Swoope’s CD ‘Sinema’ is one of several rap projects to debut at the top of the charts this year.
Second this week is Smokie Norful, who is back after a 5 year hiatus with ‘Forever Yours.’
Coming in third this week is 2013 Sunday Best winner Tasha Page Lockhart. Lockhart’s prized release is her first titled ‘Here Right Now.’
Also making a splash on the charts this week is Gospel rapper ‘NF’ who debuts his bass heavy jams at #4.
Falling out of the top 10 this week is Canton Jones, Charles Butler & Trinity, Erica Campbell, Ricky Dillard, and Bizzle.
